In India’s Uttar Pradesh, more than a hundred people lost their lives when a religious guru named Bhole Baba was trampled to a satsang ceremony. The tragic incident took place on Tuesday (July 2) when devotees were attending a religious function in Hathras.
The place where the event was organized to hear the speech of the priest named Bhole Baba is on the border of Itah and Hathras districts.
According to a Hindustan Times report, the Satsang ceremony was going on in intense heat. At that time, it was a complete mess inside the tent. After the satsang was over, the devotees rushed out. And that’s when the stampede happened.
