After the violence surrounding the quota reform movement, the situation in the country has started to normalize. The government has further relaxed the ongoing curfew. In such a situation, the government office will run for six hours from next Sunday to Tuesday.
Public Administration Minister Farhad Hossain said this while talking to reporters on Saturday (July 27) afternoon.
He said, tomorrow from Sunday to Tuesday the office will be open from 9 am to 3 pm.
Earlier, the government had imposed a general holiday till July 23 when curfew was imposed on July 20 due to violence surrounding the quota reform movement. The situation is normal on July 23, the Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification saying that on July 24 and 25, office hours have been fixed for all government, semi-government, autonomous and private offices from 11 am to 3 pm.
