900 armed Kuki fighters have entered the Indian state of Manipur from neighboring Myanmar. After the intelligence of the country reported such information, a lot of precautions are being taken in Manipur.
In a report on Saturday (September 21), Indian media India Today reported this information.

According to intelligence sources in the report, “These fighters are divided into groups of 30 and are currently scattered in different places. They may launch a concerted attack on the villages of the Meitis community on September 28.”
Intelligence sources also said that these armed fighters of the Kuki community are specially trained for drone-based bombs, missiles and forest warfare.

Kuldeep Singh, a security consultant in Manipur, said, “Detective information cannot be taken lightly. Until this information is proven wrong, we have to accept it as 100 percent accurate.”
All superintendents of police in charge of South Manipur region on India-Myanmar border received this intelligence last Thursday.

Ethnic conflict erupted last year between Meitis and Kuki communities in Manipur state. Conflicts arose between them over quotas and economic privileges. Which later turned into a bloody conflict. More than a year later, there are still no signs of easing tensions. Law and order forces believe that many infiltrators have entered Manipur on the occasion of such unrest.

An explosive weighing 28 kg was recovered in the eastern division of Imphal, the capital of Manipur, in a joint operation of the Indian Army and Police on Friday. If it had not been rescued, there could have been a major accident, security forces said.
