Land Minister Narayan Chandra Chand said that three-crop, two-crop land cannot be used for any other sector to maintain food self-sufficiency. To ensure food security in proportion to the population without wasting agricultural land, even if one crop land is used for other purposes, the permission of the government must be obtained.

To stop harassment in land services, the minister said, depending on the survey, the khatian is being brought in the digital system. E-Namjari, e-Khajna giving has been introduced in Bhoomiseba. No customer should be harassed by visiting the office. Besides, the Ministry of Land is involved with every people of the country. It needs proper management. We will gradually take Bhoomiseva through mapping to a level where it can be known through National Identity Card.

The land minister said that Panchagarh, Dinajpur, Rangpur are grain stores. We have to save these lands. We want everyone’s cooperation in this regard.

He also said that rescuing encroached rivers and canals, canals and reservoirs is time-consuming and difficult. Khas land and privately owned land are being classified through proper management according to digital survey. Every district administrator has been instructed in this regard. They are taking action. There is a list of khal-bil and khas lands according to district and mauza.
