At least 13 Palestinians were killed in an Israeli airstrike in the southern city of Rafah in the Gaza Strip. Many others were injured in the attack.

Israeli airstrikes on three houses in the besieged Gaza City of Rafah killed 13 people and injured many others, reports said. However, Gaza media outlets put the death toll at 15.

However, the Israel Defense Forces did not immediately comment on the attack.

Incidentally, the attack in Rafah came at a time when Egypt invited Hamas leaders to discuss the possibility of a ceasefire agreement with Israel.

Meanwhile, since the unprecedented attack by Hamas on October 7, Israel has been carrying out continuous air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip. Thousands of buildings including hospitals, schools, refugee camps, mosques, churches have been damaged or destroyed in this Israeli attack.

According to the Ministry of Health of Gaza, more than 34 thousand people have been killed so far as a result of Israel’s attack on Gaza. Most of them are women and children. In addition, more than 77 thousand people were injured.
