DB Police seized 280 sacks of Indian sugar in Mymensingh. Mini truck driver Liton Mia (45) was arrested.

Arrested Liton Mia (45) of Sadar Upazila of Netrokona district of Joynagar Dakshinpara. Son of Khorshed Alam. This information was informed in a press release sent from the office of the District Intelligence Branch on Thursday (May 30) evening.

Earlier that day, a truck with sugar was seized from the Tool Ghar area of the city’s Patgodam-Shambuganj highway.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of District Intelligence Branch. Farooq Hossain said that a mini truck bound for Dhaka was searched in Tool Ghar area of the city on the basis of secret information. 280 sacks of Indian sugar were seized from that truck after searching. The truck driver Liton Mia was arrested.

He also said that after filing a case in the concerned police station, the driver Liton Mia has been sent to jail on the orders of the court.
