TPW Desk:  People have already started leaving the capital to return to their villages to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr with their families. Compared to the last few days, the crowd of homebound people has increased at Kamalapur railway station on Sunday. However, despite the delay in departure of 2-1 trains, most of the people did not complain of any inconvenience in the train.

On Sunday (April 7) morning at Kamalapur station, it was seen that hundreds of people were entering the station after coming under checking. Everyone has a train ticket. Anyone without a ticket is being sent back. And the senior officials of the railway are standing and supervising the whole matter at the station.

Meanwhile, the homebound passengers were overjoyed to board the train. Everyone was smiling. On the other hand, trains are being released from Kamalapur and Cantonment railway stations of the capital. As a result, the pressure is slightly less in Kamalapur. On the fifth day of the journey, 2 Eid special intercity trains were added to the 42 intercity trains.

Arman Miah of Kurigram said, train is the only hope for our passengers of North Bengal. The number of vehicles jammed on the Jamuna bridge is very painful before Eid. This year tickets were easily collected online. There will be no suffering for that.

Railway officials said that 14 trains left Dhaka railway station for different destinations from 6 am to 9 am. Rajshahi-bound Dhumketu Express, which was delayed by 1 hour 45 minutes yesterday, left Dhaka station at 6 am today.

It is known that the crowd of people is much more on the fifth day than the last four days. Afternoon trains may have more passenger pressure.
