TPW Desk: John Alfred Tinniswood of the United Kingdom was born in the same year that the Titanic sank. His age is 111 years and 225 days. He is currently the oldest man in the world according to Guinness World Records. News – CNN

Previously, according to Guinness World Records, the world’s oldest person was Juan Vincent Perez Mora of Venezuela. He died on Tuesday at the age of 114. A few days later, Guinness World Records recognized John Alfred Tinniswood as the world’s oldest man.

In an interview with Guinness, Tinniswood said he doesn’t smoke at all, drinks very little, but eats fish and chips every Friday.

Everything in life should be within limits, says Tinniswood. He also said, ‘If you drink too much, or eat too much, or walk too much; Do too much of anything, and you will repent.’

Tinniswood does not think that there is any special secret behind his long life. He thinks longevity depends on luck.
