In the third phase, the High Court suspended the recruitment of 46,000 primary school teachers in Dhaka and Chittagong divisions. Along with that, the matter was also ordered to be investigated. It is said that this order has been given due to allegations of question leakage.

On Tuesday (May 28), the High Court bench of Justice Mustafa Zaman Islam and Justice SM Masud Hossain Dolan gave the order.

In the first phase on February 28 last year, the department published the notification of clusters of Rangpur, Sylhet and Barisal divisions. Then on March 22, the notification of Rajshahi, Khulna and Mymensingh divisions was published in the 2nd phase. Later on 17th June 3rd phase recruitment notification for Dhaka and Chittagong division was published.

3 lakh 60 thousand 700 candidates applied in the first phase, 4 lakh 59 thousand 438 in the second phase and 3 lakh 40 thousand candidates applied in the third phase.
