The organization said in a notification that there will be continuous rain in all the eight divisions of the country for the next three days. There may be moderate rain in some places and heavy rain in some places. In addition to reducing the temperature, the intensity of the heat will also decrease.

Such information was given in the 72-hour weather forecast given on Saturday (June 1) night.

According to the notification, the extension of low pressure is extending from West Bengal through southwest Bangladesh to northwest Bay of Bengal. Southwest Monsoon has advanced to Dhaka, Barisal, Chittagong, Sylhet, Mymensingh, Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions. Conditions are favorable for further advance of southwest monsoon.

In this situation, in the next 24 hours in many places of Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions; Some places of Dhaka, Rajshahi and Chittagong Divisions and a few places of Khulna and Barisal Divisions with temporary gusty winds may experience light to moderate rain and thundershowers. Apart from this, there may be heavy rainfall at some places in Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions.

At this time, the mild heat wave passing over Dhaka, Tangail, Faridpur, Madaripur, Rajshahi, Pabna, Sirajganj, Rangpur, Moulvibazar, Chandpur, Noakhali, Bagerhat, Jessore, Barisal, Patuakhali and Bhola districts may subside, the Meteorological Department said.

Due to rain, the day temperature may drop slightly across the country.

Meanwhile, in most places of Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions in the next 48 hours from Sunday (June 2) evening; Many places in Dhaka and Rajshahi divisions and a few places in Khulna, Barisal and Chittagong divisions may experience light to moderate rain and thundershowers with temporary gusty winds.

Besides, the forecast says that there may be heavy rainfall in some places.

Day and night temperatures may drop across the country.
