Crime and Intelligence Department of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has arrested 13 people in anti-drug operations in different areas of the capital. It is reported that they have been arrested on charges of selling and consuming drugs.

From 6 am on Saturday (June 22) to 6 am on Sunday (23 June) they were arrested along with the recovery of narcotics by raiding various police stations in the capital.

Crime and Intelligence Department of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) said that 125 pieces of Yaba, 37 grams of heroin and 700 grams of ganja were recovered from them.

It is reported that this operation has been conducted as part of the regular anti-narcotics operation of the DMP. It was also informed that 9 cases under the Narcotics Control Act have been registered against the arrested in the concerned police station.
