Till now 207 cases have been filed in different police stations of Dhaka city regarding vandalism and violence in government buildings across the country including Dhaka during the agitation demanding quota reform in government jobs. Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has so far arrested 2 thousand 536 people in these cases.

On Saturday (July 26), DMP’s Media and Public Relations Department Additional Deputy Police Commissioner (ADC) KN Roy Niyati gave this information.

He said that by analyzing the intelligence information and CCTV footage in the case of violence sabotage, those involved are being identified and arrested. In continuation of this, 2 thousand 536 people have been arrested in Dhaka till Saturday afternoon.
