Curfew will be relaxed in capital Dhaka, Gazipur, Narayanganj and Narsingdi from 7 am to 8 pm tomorrow Saturday (August 3). As a result, normal activities will continue for 13 hours out of 24 hours.

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said that in the rest of the districts, the respective district administrators and the law enforcement forces will coordinate and decide on curfew in their respective districts.

Earlier, the Home Minister gave this information in a press conference last Tuesday (July 30).
It should be noted that due to violence across the country around the quota reform movement, the government deployed the army and imposed a curfew from 12 midnight on July 19. At this time, general holiday was announced by executive order for 3 days till Friday, Monday and Tuesday (July 23) after last weekend on Friday and Saturday. After that, the curfew is being relaxed for a specified period. But it has not been completely removed yet.
