Bangladeshi music icon Dolly Sayantani has captivated audiences across the U.S. with her performances in various cities. Known for her hit song “Hey Jubo” from the film *Uthan Pothan*, Sayantani has continued to enchant listeners with tracks like “Bishom Piriti,” “Kalia,” and “Antor Dilam.”
In early July, Sayantani embarked on her 11th tour of America, performing in cities including Washington, Florida, and Oklahoma, with more shows in the pipeline. Accompanied by her daughter, Faizah, she has already graced four cities and anticipates more performances. Despite her busy schedule, she expresses a heartfelt wish for the safety and well-being of her homeland and its people.
Sayantani’s career highlights include her first overseas visit to Oman in 1989 and her education at Dhaka’s Oriental Kiradan Garden. Her latest song, “Patar Dena,” released in 2022, adds to her impressive repertoire. She also maintains an active YouTube channel where her recent original song, “Ek Torfa Baisha Bhalo,” showcases her ongoing creativity.
