According to the Met office, there is a possibility of storm in 10 districts by 1 am on Wednesday (March 20). Ports in those areas designated for river ports have been asked to display warning signal number 1.

Meanwhile, the 72-hour weather forecast given in the evening said that the extension of western low pressure is staying over West Bengal and adjoining areas. Seasonal normal low pressure is located over South Bay of Bengal.

In this situation, from this evening to Thursday (March 21) evening, rain with stormy wind and thunder may occur in various areas of Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions.

However, the day temperature may rise by (1-3) degrees Celsius in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh and Khulna divisions. However, other parts of the country may see a decrease of 1 to 3 degrees Celsius. Night temperature may drop by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius across the country.
