People’s life is unstable in intense heat. Thousands of tourists flocked to Cox’s Bazar beach on Friday-Saturday weekend, when people were suffocating due to the intense heat. In this situation, ordinary people and tourists are looking for relief by bathing on the beach.

On Friday (April 26) afternoon, visiting Kalatali, Sugandha and Labani points of Cox’s Bazar beach, it was seen that more than 50,000 tourists bathed in these three points of the beach.

Abdur Razzak, a tourist from Sirajganj, said, I came to Cox’s Bazar to bathe in the sea after getting a holiday in the hot summer. I feel very happy. I came to visit with my whole family. I would have stayed here if I had a few more days off. Sea water is very cold. I like it a lot.

Mukhlesur Rahman, a tourist from Lalbagh, Dhaka, said, “I came to Cox’s Bazar for relief, but it is very hot everywhere.” Bathing in the sea this summer is a great feeling. The security system is also very good. The lifeguards are blowing whistles when they go away. Everything is very good.

The tourist police and the district administration are working to ensure that there is no security problem when visiting Cox’s Bazar on weekends. Besides, Sea Safe lifeguard staff are working there to prevent any untoward incident from taking a bath on the beach.

Ruhul Amin, senior lifeguard of Sea Safe Lifeguard, told Barta24.com that more than 50,000 tourists have taken a bath at Kalatali, Sugandha and Labani points. These three points are basically what we work on from morning till evening. No one is enjoying the sea from above in this intense heat. Everyone is going down to the sea, so it is a little difficult for us.

Salim Newaz, general secretary of Cox’s Bazar Hotel-Motel Guest House Owners Association, told Barta24.com that the tourist gathering has started since the day after Eid. Alhamdulillah, many tourists are still coming to Cox’s Bazar. We the tourism business are very happy. We are doing good business.

Apart from the Cox’s Bazar beach, the tourists are going to visit the 80 km long Marine Drive, Inani-Patuartek beach, Maheshkhali-Saint Martin Island and the historical places of Ramu.
