Earthquake occurred in Rajshahi region of Bangladesh and West Bengal of India. The earthquake occurred at 8:05 PM on Sunday (April 28). According to the Android Earthquake Alert System, the earthquake originated in Uttampur, West Bengal, India. Its magnitude was 4.4 decimal. No damage was reported as it was a mild earthquake.
Ashiq, a resident of Rajshahi Sadar, said he felt a very light tremor. However, he did not immediately understand the earthquake.
Zahirul Islam, Wallace operator of the Dhaka office of the Meteorological Department, told the Dhaka Post that they have not yet learned anything about the earthquake.
No news of this earthquake has been seen in the known Indian media so far.
