Severe heat wave is still going on in the country. Ordinary people are not comfortable in this continuous heat. However, on Thursday (May 2), the Meteorological Department has announced the possibility of rain in four parts of the country including Dhaka. Even in the coming days this rain will spread across the country. At the same time, the intensity and scope of the heat wave will gradually decrease.

Meteorologist Md. in the weather forecast for the next 24 hours from 9 am on Wednesday (May 1). Omar Farooq gave this information.

He said that in the next 24 hours, there may be rain or thunder with gusty wind in two places in Chittagong and Sylhet divisions, and there may be scattered hailstones at some places. Elsewhere in the country, the weather will remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky. Day and night temperatures may remain almost unchanged across the country during this time. However, discomfort may persist due to excess water vapor.

Meteorological Department said, very intense heat wave is passing over Jessore, Kushtia, Chuadanga, Pabna, Rajshahi, Bagerhat and Satkhira districts and intense heat wave is passing over the rest of Tangail, Faridpur, Gopalganj, Narayanganj, Naogaon, Sirajganj, Dinajpur and Khulna divisions. Besides, mild to moderate heat waves are prevailing elsewhere in the country and may continue.
