Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has decided the new price of gold by reducing the price of gold by 1 thousand 750 taka. The best quality of gold will be 1 lakh 11 thousand 158 taka. The new rates will be effective from Wednesday (March 20).

This information was informed in a circular of Bajus on Tuesday (March 19).

According to the notification, the price of acid gold (pure gold) has decreased in the local market. As a result, the new price of gold has been fixed considering the overall situation.

According to the new price, the price of 22 carat gold per load will be 1 lakh 11 thousand 158 taka. Apart from this, the price of 21 carat gold will be 1 lakh 6 thousand 142 taka, 18 carat 90 thousand 979 taka and the price of traditional method has been fixed at 75 thousand 816 taka.

Earlier, on March 6, the best quality 22 carat gold was increased by Tk 2217 to Tk 1 lakh 12 thousand 908. Which was the highest in the country’s history. And the price of 21 carat gold is 1 lakh 7 thousand 775 taka, 18 carat gold is 92 thousand 379 taka and the price of traditional gold is 76 thousand 982 taka.

Bajus adjusted the price of gold four times this year. And in 2023, prices were adjusted 29 times.
