The price of gold has increased again in the country’s market. Two thousand 217 rupees have increased in Bhari. In this, one bar of good quality (22 carat) gold will be sold for 1 lakh 12 thousand 908 taka. Which is the highest price in the history of the country.

Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) informed this information in a circular on Wednesday (March 6).
Earlier, Bajus had announced to increase the price of gold in the country on January 17. Then the best quality gold was increased by 1 thousand 400 taka to 1 lakh 12 thousand 441 taka.
However, the next day on January 18, the price of the best quality gold was reduced to Tk 1,750 and set at Tk 1,10,691.

This year Bajus adjusted the price of gold three times. Earlier, the price was adjusted 29 times in 2023.
