Istiskar prayers were offered at Mirpur Pallabi in the capital, asking for relief from the intense heat wave and rain. The prayer was held on Saturday (April 27) at 8:30 am in the D block Eidgah ground of Pallavi 12 section.
Imam Abdul Halim of Baitul Azmat Jame Masjid was the imam in this prayer at the initiative of Madrasa Darur Rasad.
Before this, the worshipers started coming to that field from dawn. About two thousand people participated in this Istiskar prayer.
