A gusty wind is likely to blow over seven regions of the country. Therefore, the number one warning signal has been raised in the river ports of those areas.
Saturday (March 16) forecasted by the Meteorological Office.

Meteorologist Md. Manowar Hossain said that rain/thundershower with gusty wind speed of 45-60 km per hour from west/north-west direction over Kushtia, Khulna, Jessore, Barisal, Noakhali, Mymensingh and Sylhet regions. The river ports in these areas have been asked to display the number one warning signal.

Currently, the western low pressure area is located over West Bengal and adjoining areas. Seasonal normal low pressure is located over South Bay of Bengal.

Next Sunday (March 17) Comilla and Noakhali region along with Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna and Barisal divisions may experience rain/thunder with temporary gusty winds. Elsewhere in the country, the weather will remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky.

Besides, a mild heat wave is flowing over Chittagong, Rangamati and Cox’s Bazar districts and may continue. Day and night temperatures may remain almost unchanged across the country.

Next Monday (March 18) two places of Dhaka and Khulna division may experience rain/thunder with temporary gusty winds. Elsewhere in the country, the weather will remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky. Day and night temperatures may increase slightly across the country.

Next Tuesday (March 19) the weather will remain dry over the country with temporary partly cloudy skies. Day temperatures may increase slightly and night temperatures may remain almost unchanged across the country.
