President’s Homecoming Visit to Pabna

President Md. Shahabuddin is scheduled to visit his home district of Pabna for four days, starting June 9. This visit was confirmed by Pabna District Commissioner Muha. Asaduzzaman on Tuesday afternoon.

Travel and Itinerary Details

According to Protocol Officer Mamunul Haque, the President will arrive in Pabna by helicopter from Dhaka at 12:50 PM on June 9. He will receive a guard of honor before heading to the circuit house, where he will rest for the night.

On June 10, President Shahabuddin will engage with Pabna’s government employees at 11:30 AM and return to the circuit house by 1 PM for an overnight stay. The following day, June 11, he will meet with representatives of the Pabna Chamber of Commerce and Industries Limited at 11:30 AM, then return to the circuit house by 1 PM.

The President’s visit will conclude on June 12, when he departs for Dhaka at 1:40 PM.

City Preparations and Local Reactions

Preparations are in full swing in Pabna city, with banners and festoons being put up by local leaders and activists to welcome the President. During previous visits, President Shahabuddin announced several development projects for Pabna, which are now underway. The residents anticipate more development announcements during this visit.

Ali Murtaza Biswas Soni, Senior Vice-President of Pabna Chamber of Commerce and Industries, expressed pride in the President’s achievements and looks forward to fruitful discussions with local businessmen.

Pabna Superintendent of Police Akbar Ali Munsi assured that all security measures are in place for the President’s visit. District Commissioner Muha. Asaduzzaman emphasized that extensive preparations are being made to ensure a smooth and peaceful visit.
