Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has ordered the RAB to take strict legal action against militancy, terrorism, drugs and youth gang culture, besides intensifying operations against food hoarding and counterfeit money before Ramadan and Eid.
He said, some of our unscrupulous traders stock up the goods that we need the most during the month of Ramadan and adopt unethical tactics to increase their prices. You have to take appropriate action against them.

They become more profiteers, forgetting that Ramadan is the month of self-restraint, the Prime Minister said.
He said these things in the speech of the chief guest at the function organized on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB).

Mentioning that the circulation of fake money usually increases before Eid, he said, for this purpose, surveillance should be increased before Eid.
He said that RAB members should continue the campaign against fake currency.
Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan spoke on the occasion. RAB Director General (DG) M Khurshid Hossain gave a welcome speech.

Prime Minister’s Security Adviser Major General (Retd.) Tarek Ahmed Siddique and Senior Secretary of Public Security Department. Mustafizur Rahman was present on the occasion.
