Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has unveiled the cover of the book Bangabandhu to Deshratna: An Epic of Inspiration written by Barrister Biplab Barua, Secretary of Awami League and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister.
He unveiled this book at the historic March 7 discussion meeting at the Dhaka District Branch Awami League office in Tejgaon on Thursday (March 7) afternoon.

National and central leaders of Awami League including writer Biplab Barua and publisher poet Tariq Sujat were present. Bangabandhu’s daughter Sheikh Hasina wrote the foreword of the book.
Dedicated to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the book contains ten articles. They are ‘Epic of Eternal Inspiration of Bengali’, ‘Bangabandhu in Establishing the Dignity of Bengali Language’, ‘Bangabandhu’s Unique Struggle’, ‘The Great Father’s Opportunity Daughter’, ‘Bangladesh Democracy Restoration Day 7 May 2007’, ‘January 31, 1996: A Cursed Day to Forget’ ‘, ‘BNP Politics on Indemnity Ordinance’, ‘Anti-Padma Bridge Conspiracy and Yunus Centre’s Statement’, ‘February 15 BNP Election and Black Chapter of History’, ‘Election Commission Formation Act: Comparative Analysis with Other Countries’.
Biplab Barua expressed gratitude to the father of the nation’s eldest daughter Sheikh Hasina for writing the foreword and unveiling the cover of the book. He thanked the publisher of the book and everyone present.
