Bangladesh Railway has started selling train tickets in advance for the 3rd day. The train journey will start from April 3 on the occasion of Eid. Tickets go on sale on Tuesday (March 26) at 8am. On this day, tickets for the next 5th April intercity train will be sold.
Western train tickets will be available at this time. Later, the sale of Eastern train tickets will start at 2 pm. This time the number of outbound tickets from Dhaka in intercity trains including specials is 33 thousand 500.

In previous Eids, 5-day tickets were sold, but this time, the railways is selling 7-day tickets for the first time. On the occasion of Eid, the sale of tickets for this train journey for homebound people started yesterday on March 24. For the convenience of passengers, 100% tickets are now being sold online. Earlier, tickets for April 3 went on sale on March 24; Tickets for April 4 went on sale on March 25.
April 6 tickets for inter-city trains before Eid will be sold on March 27; Tickets for April 7 will go on sale March 28; Tickets for April 8 will go on sale on March 29 and tickets for April 9 will go on sale on March 30. Besides, 25% tickets will be available from the starting station before the start of the journey on the request of common passengers.
