A large number of Umrah pilgrims have gathered in the two holy cities of Mecca and Medina in the current month of Ramadan. The two cities of Saudi Arabia are busy with the arrival of millions of Muslims from different countries including Bangladesh.
Mecca and Medina are always crowded with Umrah pilgrims during Ramadan, the ninth month of the Arabic lunar calendar. However, this number of Umrah pilgrims has not been seen before. According to many, a major reason for this is the weather conditions. In the desert country of Saudi Arabia, summer starts in full from April. Till then the weather is quite bearable and comfortable. This year Ramadan in Saudi started from March 11.

Today, March 15, Friday, the first Friday of the month of Ramadan, thousands of Muslims offered prayers at the Kaaba Sharif in Mecca and Masjid al-Nababi in Madinah. Especially the entire area of the Kaaba Sharif square was packed to the brim.
Even not getting a place in the mosque, many have offered Friday prayers in different hotels in Mecca. Hotels have audio transmission communication with Kaaba Sharif. Through this, they were able to connect directly with the sermon and Imamat of the Imam of Kaaba Sharif.

Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud will pay all the expenses of 1000 pilgrims from different countries of the world for Umrah this year. At least 250 of these philanthropic guests have come this Ramadan. These guests came from 16 countries of Europe-Asia including Bangladesh.
