Bangladesh’s three-match T20 series against India is at the end of the current Kanpur Test. BCB has announced the team for this series on Sunday.

Experienced Mehdi Hasan Miraj returned to the 15-member team. There is also Mahmudullah Riad.
Spinner Rakibul Hasan and opener Parvez Hossain Imon were called up to the team. Rakibul has come to the national team for the first time.

Bangladesh-India series first T20 in Gwalior on October 6. The next two matches are on October 9 and 12 in Delhi and Hyderabad.
Two members of the U-19 World Cup winning team in 2020, opener Parvez Hossain and left-arm spinner Rakibul Hasan are in the team against India. Left-handed pacer Shariful Islam has returned from injury.

Shakib Al Hasan announced his retirement from T20 and Test a couple of days ago. Because of this, BCB has to find an alternative to Shakib. Although the team announced in a video varta, chief selector Gazi Ashraf Lipu said that they do not have an option for Shakib right now. However, Mehdi Hasan Miraj has been taken into the team to complement Shakib’s batting. He returned to the T20 team after 14 months.

Soumya Sarkar and Tanveer Islam were left out of the T20 World Cup squad.
