Bank transactions in Ramadan are 5 hours

Bangladesh Bank said that the bank’s office and transactions will run on the new schedule in the upcoming month of Ramadan.

In a notification on Wednesday (March 5), Bangladesh Bank said that bank transactions will be open from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm during the holy month of Ramadan. And the office will run from 9:30 am to 4 pm.
According to the notification, all scheduled banks in the country will be open from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm during the holy month of Ramadan. In between, there will be a break for Zohar prayer from 1:15 PM to 1:30 PM. However, during this break, the bank’s transactions can be continued through internal coordination, according to the notification.
