TPW Desk : Import and export activities at the Bhomra port of Satkhira will be closed for five days on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. However, passport holders will be able to travel normally during this time.

Bhomra C&F Agent General Secretary Maksud Khan confirmed the matter on Friday. He said import and export activities at Bhomra port will be closed from Wednesday (April 10) to Sunday (April 14). The decision was taken by business leaders of Bangladesh and India involved in the Bhomra port.

Bhomra Immigration Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mazriha Hossain said the port will resume import and export operations from Sunday (April 14). However, passport holders will be able to travel normally during this time.
