In India’s 18th Lok Sabha elections, the privately announced results showed the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) as a single party winning 69 out of 240 seats and leading in 171 seats.
India’s The Hindu newspaper published the results announced on Tuesday (June 4) till 7:30 pm. According to the newspaper, the result is-
As a coalition, the NDA (National Democratic Alliance) has won 74 seats and is ahead in 211 seats.
The coalition DP won one of the 16 seats. It is ahead in 15 seats. Besides, JD(U) did not win in one of the 12 seats but is leading in all 12 seats.
In privately declared results, India (Indian Development Inclusive Alliance) alliance has won 44 seats and is ahead in 157 seats.
Out of this, the party won 35 out of 99 seats in the National Congress. It is ahead in 64 seats.
Besides, Samajwadi Party (SP) has won 3 out of 38 seats. Leading in 35.
DMK has not won even one of the 22 seats but is leading in all 22 seats.
The declaration of private results for India’s 18th Lok Sabha elections began on Tuesday (June 4). Elections started on April 19 and ended in seven phases.
Counting of votes started on Tuesday (June 4) morning.
The number of voters in India’s 18th Lok Sabha elections this year was around 97 crore. Out of this, 64.2 crore voters participated in the polls.
