Baisakhi storm has started suddenly in Dhaka yesterday. This storm started from 2:30 midnight on Saturday. Lasts about 30 minutes. Heavy hail is seen with the storm.
It is the third storm in Chaitra month of Bengali calendar.
With the storm, it is raining intermittently in different parts of the capital. A light wind is blowing with it. It feels cool.
According to the latest forecast at 6 pm on Saturday, the Meteorological Department said that there may be stormy winds and rain with thunder in some places of Dhaka, Rangpur, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions during the night. Day and night temperatures across the country may increase by 1-2 degrees Celsius.
According to the Meteorological Office, the maximum speed of 60-80 km per hour during the night in some regions of the country. Showers with gusty winds or thundershowers are possible.

The river ports in these areas have been asked to display naval warning signal number 2.

Teknaf and Mongla recorded the highest temperature in the country at 33.8 degrees Celsius on Saturday. Besides, 20 mm rainfall has been recorded in Rajarhat in the last 24 hours.
