The Board of Education has announced the deadline for filling the form of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) 2024 and equivalent examination. Online form filling process will start on April 16. Form filling will continue till April 25 without penalty.
On Thursday (March 21) an instruction regarding form filling has been issued by the Board of Inter-Education. Dhaka Education Board Examination Controller Professor Md. The instructions signed by Abul Basha said that the form can be filled from April 29 to May 2 with late fee. Probable start date of exam is 30th June.

The fee for filling the form has been fixed at Tk 2680 for science branch candidates and Tk 2120 for humanities and business education branches.
According to the instructions of the Board of Education, the educational institutions have to publish the results of the next March 31 election examination.
Earlier on Thursday, Inter-Education Board Coordinating Committee convener and Dhaka Board Professor Tapan Kumar Sarkar told Dhaka Post that proposals are being sent to start HSC and equivalent examinations from the last week of June. Accordingly, three possible dates will be proposed and sent to the Ministry of Education. The exam routine will be released as per the date finalized by the ministry.

Usually before Corona, SSC and equivalent exams started in February, and HSC exams started in April. But due to the impact of Corona, the exam schedule got messed up.

Due to the corona epidemic, it was not possible to conduct the HSC examination in April for the last few years. In 2020, due to the corona epidemic, although the SSC exam was held, the students were given the certificate by subject mapping without taking the HSC exam.

In 2021, SSC and HSC exams are only group based on 3 optional subjects and reduced the exam time and exam marks to accept hygiene rules. SSC and HSC exams were taken in 2022 by slightly increasing the syllabus. The examination time was slightly shorter that year.

2023 SSC and HSC equivalent exams were conducted in short syllabus. But except SSC ICT these two public exams were conducted in full time and marks in other subjects. However, the education boards have already announced that full marks will be taken this time.
