Insomnia Cookies, the popular bakery chain known for delivering warm, fresh cookies late into the night, is on a fast track for growth. The brand plans to open 55 new U.S. stores by the end of 2024, with a long-term goal of adding 1,800 new locations in the next decade.
Celebrating 300 Stores and Counting
This week marks a major milestone for Insomnia Cookies with the opening of its 300th location. To celebrate, the brand is offering exclusive deals and events across the country. Founded by Seth Berkowitz, Insomnia Cookies has grown rapidly since its inception, fueled by a loyal customer base known as “Insomniacs.”
Partnerships Power Growth
Key to this growth has been strategic partnerships with Verlinvest, an international investment firm, and Mistral Equity Partners, a New York-based private equity firm. In addition to expanding across the U.S., Insomnia Cookies has also made its mark internationally, with locations now in Canada and the U.K.
Expansion into Transit Hubs
The company is also targeting high-traffic areas, such as transit centers, including New York’s Penn Station and Washington D.C.’s Union Station, ensuring that cookie lovers can satisfy their cravings on the go.
A Sweet Future Ahead
Insomnia Cookies continues to innovate with its new global headquarters in Philadelphia, which features a state-of-the-art innovation lab and flagship bakery. With plans to keep growing, the brand shows no signs of slowing down.
