After fasting all day, you want to eat nothing at Iftar. Halim adds a different dimension to Iftar. Mouth watering when I think of the delicious Haleem.
Haleem can be made at home in a healthy way. Know about Haleem recipe-
Heat oil and fry 1 cup chopped onion. When it turns light brown, add 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon of chili powder, two and a half tablespoons of Halim masala, half teaspoon of ginger paste and half teaspoon of garlic paste.
Season the masala with salt to taste. Cut 1 kg of beef into small pieces. Cover the pot with a lid. After 10 minutes, when the water comes out of the meat, stir it again. Boil the meat in 2 cups of water on medium flame.
In this, wash 1/4 cup of wheat, half cup of butter dal, quarter cup of moong dal, quarter cup together and make a paste with little water. No need to refine at all. When the meat is cooked a little, mix it with rice-dal mixture and add 5 cups of water. Stir frequently.
Make it thin. Add 2 tbsp of tamarind water before pouring. Sprinkle lemon, chopped coriander, chopped onion and ginger and serve hot.
You can keep cucumber-tomato mixture in the container. This salad will enhance the taste with Halim.
