Actress Rafiat Rashid Mithila won the Best Actress Award for ‘O Abhaagi’ at the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival. Anirban Chakraborty has produced the movie based on Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay’s ‘Abhagir Swarg’ which was released last April.
According to a report in Hindustan Times Bengal, the 14th Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival was recently held in Delhi, the capital of India. Mithila won the best actress award in this film festival. However, he could not attend the event organized in Delhi.

Mithila is currently in Bangladesh. However, the director and producer of the film accepted the award instead. Mithila is very happy to be honored with the award.

In a video message, Mithila said, ‘I am very happy to inform everyone that I have won the Best Actress Award at the 14th Dadasaheb Film Festival 2024 organized in Delhi.

I got this award for acting in O Abhagi. I am for this our director Anirban Chakraborty, producer Dr. A big thank you to Praveer Bhowmik and our entire team.
Ever since its release, there was a distinct craze among the audience for the movie ‘O Abhagi’. Apart from Mithila, the movie also stars actors like RJ Sion, Devyani Chatterjee, RJ Jinia, Krishna Bandyopadhyay, Saurabh Halder.
