For the past few days, extreme heat has been going on in all parts of the country. It has made public life miserable. In this situation, the Meteorological Office has issued a precautionary heat alert for three days across the country.

It is said that the ongoing heatwave over the country may continue for three more days. Besides, the temperature is likely to rise further. It is reported that discomfort may also increase due to excess water vapor.
Apart from this, though a heat alert has been issued across the country, there may be rain in some places, according to the Meteorological Office.
Meanwhile, the weather forecast said that till 9 am on Saturday morning, there may be temporary gusty or windy rain or rain with thunder in one or two places in Dhaka, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions. Along with that, there may be scattered hailstorms at some places. Apart from this, the weather may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky elsewhere in the country.
Apart from this, severe heat wave is flowing over Bagerhat, Jessore, Chuadanga and Kushtia districts and mild to moderate heat wave over Dhaka and Rajshahi divisions including Dinajpur, Rangamati, Chandpur, Khulna, Satkhira, Barisal and Patuakhali districts and may continue. Day temperatures may rise across the country and night temperatures may remain almost unchanged. An excess of water vapor may increase discomfort.
There may be temporary gusty or windy rain or thundershower at two places in Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions till 9 am on Sunday. Along with that there may be scattered hailstorm at some places. Apart from this, the weather may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky elsewhere in the country. Day and night temperatures may rise slightly across the country. An excess of water vapor may increase discomfort.
The Meteorological Department said that there is no possibility of significant change in the weather conditions for the extended 5 days.
