On the occasion of upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr, Bangladesh Bank will start exchanging new notes from next Sunday (March 31). Which will continue till April 9. At this time, new notes can also be collected from some branches in Dhaka, Narayanganj, Savar, Keraniganj and Gazipur.

Recently, the Department of Communication and Publication (DCP) of Bangladesh Bank has informed in a circular that the central bank will exchange new notes up to the denomination of 5, 10, 20, 50 and 100 taka in a special system through the counters of various branches including the head office of Bangladesh Bank.

Customers can also collect new notes through 80 branches of various Scheduled Banks in Dhaka region except on weekends and public holidays. Besides, the central bank also said that the same person cannot take new notes more than once.
