A heat wave is sweeping across the country. People’s lives are fed up with it. Its impact is highest in four districts of the country. This pressure will continue for the next few days. Besides, mild to moderate heat wave is blowing across the country.
The Bangladesh Meteorological Department said that the heat wave is more in the western region than the southeastern region of the country. The organization has no good news about the weather at this time. On Friday (April 19), the agency has predicted more heat.
According to the Meteorological Department, severe heat wave is prevailing over Bagerhat, Jessore, Chuadanga and Kushtia districts and mild to moderate heat wave over Dhaka and Rajshahi divisions including Dinajpur, Rangamati, Chandpur, Khulna, Satkhira, Barisal and Patuakhali districts and may continue.
Day temperatures across the country may rise but remain unchanged at night. An excess of water vapor may increase discomfort.
Earlier, Chuadanga recorded 40.4 degrees Celsius on Thursday (April 18), 40.8 degrees Celsius on Wednesday (April 17) and 40.6 degrees Celsius on Tuesday (April 16). Which was the highest temperature in the entire country.
The temperature may rise and last until next week. The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has issued a warning that the ongoing heat wave may continue for the next 72 hours from today (April 19).
