The moon of the holy month of Shawwal was not seen in the sky of the country. So tomorrow Wednesday (April 10) after observing 30 fasts, the next day Thursday (April 11) Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated.
This decision was taken in the meeting of the National Moon Sighting Committee organized in the East premises of Islamic Foundation Baitul Mukarram Mosque on Tuesday (April 9) evening.
It was presided over by the Minister of Religious Affairs Md. Faridul Haque Khan.
In the meeting, after reviewing the information received from all the district administrations, head office of Islamic Foundation, divisional and district offices, Bangladesh Meteorological Department and Space Research and Remote Sensing Institute about the sighting of the moon in the holy month of Shawwal in the year 1445 Hijri, it can be seen that this Tuesday evening of Bangladesh. There was no news of the sighting of the moon of the holy month of Shawwal anywhere in the sky. In this case, the holy month of Ramadan will complete 30 days tomorrow, Wednesday (April 10). And from Thursday (April 11) the holy month of Shawwal of 1445 Hijri will start. As a result, the holy Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on Thursday.

Abdul Jalil, Baitul Mukarram National Mosque Khatib Hafez Mufti Maulana Mohammad Ruhul Amin, Bangladesh Space Research And the chief scientific officer of the Institute of Remote Sensing. Muhammad Shahidul Islam, Bangladesh Meteorological Department Meteorologist Saeed Ahmed Chowdhury, Bangladesh Television Additional Director Md Ruhul Amin, Dhaka District Administration Additional Deputy Commissioner Md Aminur Rahman, Baitul Mukarram National Mosque Senior Imam Mufti Maulana Muhammad Mizanur Rahman, Govt Madrasa-e-Aliya Assistant Professor Mohammad Nasir Uddin, Lalbagh Shahi Jame Masjid Khatib Mufti Muhammad Niamatullah, Chawkbazar Shahi Jame Masjid Khatib Mufti Sheikh Naeem Rezwan, etc. were present.
