Higher education, science and technological excellence are what drive a nation forward. There is no substitute for higher education in human resource development of any country.
He said this while addressing the chief guest at the opening ceremony of a two-day fair titled ‘Study in Malaysia-Education Fair, Bangladesh’ at Sheraton Hotel, Banani Dhaka on Friday (April 26).
The local government minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the once poverty-stricken Bangladesh has become a middle-income country today. Bangladesh of food shortage today is self-sufficient in food, load-shedding Bangladesh today has achieved the capacity of electricity production, so it has become possible to electrify every house in the country. Skilled and smart human resources are essential to achieve the dream of a developed Bangladesh by 2041. Education will advance us to build that human resource.
It should be noted that the representatives of 11 famous Malaysian universities and a hospital group are participating in this education fair. As a result of this education fair, it is hoped that the long-term exchange and cooperation between Bangladesh and Malaysia in the field of education will be strengthened.
