Before Eid-ul-Fitr, the train fares are increasing from April 1, but no such decision has been made yet, said Railway Minister Md. Zillul Hakim.
He confirmed this information to the media on Sunday (March 17) afternoon.

Zillul Hakim said that the train fare will not increase in any way before Eid. Even in the near future, train fares will not increase.
According to the news published in various media, the fare rate will be adjusted by withdrawing concessional facilities in the train. Railway fare has not been increased for a long time. Due to the increase in the cost of fuel and other components, the operating cost of railways has increased. In order to increase the income, it has been decided not to give the discount which is being given now.
