He said this while addressing the Chief Guest at the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) E-Resource Awareness Workshop at UGC on Wednesday (March 06).

UGC member Dr. Md. Secretary Dr. Sajjad Hossain presided over the event. Ferdous Zaman, Director of Information Management, Communication and Training Department. Md. Sultan Mahmud Bhuiyan IEEE International Area Manager Colin DeMello spoke.
Bangladesh University Grants Commission Chairman (Additional Charge) Prof. Dr. Muhammad Alamgir. Besides, he suggested reducing interdependence and emphasizing innovation in information and technology sector.
Besides, Dean of School of Science and Engineering of University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) presented the main article on various topics of IEEE. M. Mofazzal Hossain.

Professor Alamgir said, UGC is working to ensure quality education in the country. For this purpose, importance has been given to research and innovation. IEEE can play a helpful role in publishing research and articles of university teachers in international journals (Q1, Q2, Q3).
