It has rained in different areas of the capital. This has resulted in waterlogging in some places. Traffic jam has also been created. Even before Iftar, there is a traffic jam in Dhaka. Today it has increased several times. Many people have suffered as a result.

It can be seen on the ground that water has accumulated on the roads of these areas after the afternoon rain for a few hours. As a result, the vehicles have to slow down. This has resulted in traffic congestion. Passengers in various vehicles have to be stuck on the road for hours.
Jasim Uddin, a passenger stuck in the traffic jam in Rajarbagh area, said that there has been a traffic jam in Rajarbagh area since the afternoon rain. Due to traffic jam on one side, waterlogging on the other, cars are not moving forward. Almost an hour passed, but the car did not move.
Passengers stuck in traffic jam in Shantinagar area. Anwar said, I have been sitting in the car since 4 o’clock. It was now 5 o’clock. But there is no name to reduce traffic congestion. Since the beginning of fasting, there is already traffic jam in the afternoon. But today due to rain the traffic volume is more. Vehicles cannot move due to water on the road.
Moti Jheel Traffic Division Assistant Police Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police said about the traffic jam caused after the rain. Imtiaz said, after the afternoon rain, waterlogging has occurred in some places. Traffic was slow at the start of the rain. After the end of the rain, the traffic pressure increased. As a result, there is currently a traffic jam on the road. We are working to control traffic congestion.
