6 laborers were killed when a drum truck lost control and fell into a ditch on Udaipur border road in Sajek of Rangamati.

The accident took place in the 90 degree area of Udaipur border road on Wednesday (April 24) afternoon. It is said that the dead workers were engaged in the construction of the border road.

The names and identities of the dead and injured could not be confirmed immediately.

Rangamati Additional Superintendent of Police Maruf Ahmed confirmed the accident. He said that 5 to 8 people have been reported dead, but we have not yet confirmed the actual details of the dead. A team of Sajek police station has left for the spot. When they reach there, the details of the incident will be known.
