All the schools, colleges, madrasas and technical educational institutes of the country which were closed due to severe heat wave will be open from next Sunday even though the vacation is over. Educational institutions will be open six days a week from now to meet the learning deficit of students due to closure. Accordingly, all the educational institutions of the country will be open on Saturday as well.
A notification in this regard has been issued by the Ministry of Education on Thursday.
In a notification signed by Deputy Secretary of Secondary and Higher Education Mosammat Rahima Akhter, class activities will continue on Saturdays every week until further instructions to meet the learning gap created due to closure of class activities due to heatwave and other reasons and to achieve learning outcomes according to the new curriculum. will continue
Four directions have been given in the notification. One of them is keeping educational institutions open on Saturdays.
The other three instructions are- 1. Educational institutions will be open as usual from Sunday, April 28 and class activities will continue.
2. The assembly will remain closed until the heat flux is tolerable.
3. The portion of class activities that are conducted outside the classroom and require students to be exposed to the sun will be limited.
All the educational institutions of the country were supposed to open on April 21 after the holy Ramadan, Eid-ul-Fitr and summer holidays. But due to the severe heatwave across the country, the holiday was extended till April 25 considering the health protection of the students.
