Three brothers and sisters died tragically after drowning in Mymensingh’s Phulpur. The incident took place in Ramakrishnapur village of Rupasi union of the upazila on Thursday (June 13).
The deceased are two brothers Mehdi (5), Samia (7) and their cousin Nusrat (6).
It is known that after Thursday afternoon, three brothers and sisters drowned in the pond while taking a bath together. Later, around 3:30 pm, the relatives recovered the bodies of the three brothers and sisters one by one from the pond. This incident has cast a shadow of mourning on the area.

Mehdi and Samia are the children of Rafiqul Islam of Ramakrishnapur village. And Rafiqul Islam’s elder brother Mannaf Ali’s daughter Nusrat.

Phulpur police station OC Mahbubur Rahman confirmed the truth of the incident.
